Metabolic Syndrome Linked to Silent Ischemic Brain Lesions

Chicken or egg? Are parts of your brain dead because you are fat or are you fat because parts of your brain are dead? Metabolic syndrome is what fat people get.
"Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is associated with the prevalence of silent brain lesions independent of other risk factors for ischemic stroke, according to the results of a study published in the March 6 Online First issue of Stroke."
