Bad Breakfast Habits Could Harm Long-Term Health, UK

Not really.
"SKIPPING (sic) breakfast and snacking on sugary and fatty foods could be fuelling Britain's rising obesity rates among the under 25s."
Only eating more Calories than you burn can fuel "rising obesity rates."

If one skips breakfast and then makes the bad decision to calorically overeat sugary and fatty or non-sugary and non-fatty foods, then the weight will be gained.

When it comes to weight, it was, is and always will be the Calories.
