"Childhood obesity sows the seeds of future cardiovascular trouble with subtle structural and functional damage to the heart, researchers found.

Three studies presented here at the American Heart Association revealed that overweight and obese children had larger hearts, thicker vessel walls, and worse left ventricular function than their normal weight peers.

Together, these studies add to an emerging picture of premature cardiovascular aging, said Stephen Daniels, M.D., Ph.D., of the University of Colorado Denver, who moderated a press conference at which the findings were released."

Stop nutritionally abusive parents.
