No stomach for market turmoil? Thank your genes

Hey, it's not just for fat people anymore. The virtually impossible dream of genetic social engineering continues.
"No stomach for the ups and downs of the financial market? Or maybe you lost everything in the global economic downturn? Genes important for mood and risk-taking likely played a clear role, U.S. researchers reported on Tuesday.

They found surprisingly clear-cut links between two genes and the willingness of people to gamble with money."
If there was ever a genetics-related story that should put an end to the hopes of fatsos waiting for a genetic "cure" to their overweight/obesity, it is this one.

Once researchers get to the point that they are blaming the state of the economy on genetics (excepting the genes that control for stupid), you should conclude the whole endeavor is a pile of s**t.
