Retinopathy High Among Diabetics

Type 2 diabetes is fat person diabetes.
Nearly three in 10 people with diabetes have diabetic retinopathy, according to researchers.
And nearly one in 20 has retinopathy so severe it threatens their vision, according to Xinzhi Zhang, MD, PhD, of the CDC, and colleagues.

The prevalence of the condition -- which is the leading cause of new cases of legal blindness among adults -- was higher among African-Americans than Caucasians, Zhang and colleagues reported in...the Journal of the American Medical Association.
Kudos, fatsos.
