VITAMINS MAY BOOST HIV SHEDDING IN BREAST MILK

Still think they have any idea what a healthy supplement is?
A study of HIV-infected mothers in Tanzania shows that vitamin A and beta carotene (VA/AB) supplementation increases the HIV load in breast milk, thus increasing the risk of mother-to-child transmission.

"Daily supplementation of HIV-infected lactating women with high doses of vitamin A and beta-carotene cannot be safely recommended," the investigators say.
