Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease Linked to Idiopathic Venous Thromboembolism

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is independently associated with idiopathic venous thromboembolism (VTE), according to the results of a case-control study reported in the December 28, 2010, issue of the World Journal of Gastroenterology.
