TV ads implicated in childhood obesity

No changes in sight for 2010 - blame anything or anyone except the parents.
"Studies have linked TV time to children's risk of obesity, but new findings suggest it might not be the sitting around that's the problem, but the exposure to commercials.

Researchers found that for children younger than 7, the amount of time spent watching commercial TV was related to weight gain over the next five years."
How many kids "younger than 7" up to 5 years from their starting age have the resources to buy what they see on TV?

Really.

  1. People need to start raising their children again. Protecting them from every germ in the world while allowing them to destroy their health on junk food is not raising children.
