"Ever wonder how often people take time to find out how many calories are in their large order of fries?Recall that people wanted this information and now that they have it...
Almost never.
Out of 4311 people buying food at McDonalds, Burger King, Au Bon Pain, or Starbucks, Christina A. Roberto and her colleagues from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut found that just six looked at the nutrition information the restaurants provided, or one-tenth of one percent."
"The findings show 'you've got to have this information in a really highly visible place, like on a menu board,' Roberto told Reuters Health. 'The way it's offered now is just not an effective way to disseminate that kind of information to the public.'"Hey, Roberto, stupido, the findings show that people want to blame others, as do you, for their own failings.
Morons - consumers and researchers alike.
