"No amount of dieting will alter the number of fat-hoarding cells in our bodies, research has suggested.
Scientists at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden say that the number is set during adolescence and stays the same, regardless of obesity later in life."
First, this is not news.
That the number of fat cells in the body is fixed has been biologic dogma for years.
Second, it simply does not matter. You get fat when you fill the fat cells with fat.
The fat goes away as you lose weight from fat because you burned their contents for fuel when dieting.
Picture it like this.
You have a layer of balloons on your body.
They are perfectly flat when they are deflated.
They are bloated with air when inflated.
The fat cells in your body can remain flat or you can fill them with stored fat.
You have a clear choice.
"'It explains why it's so difficult to lose weight and to keep it off - those fat cells aren't going anywhere, and they're crying out for more.'"This is clearly wrong and stupid.
It has nothing to do with the number of fat cells.
It has everything to do with the Calories that are overeaten.
Whether you have 50, 500, 5000 or 50,000 fat cells to fill, the excess Calories are added.
Whether they add as 50 really big fat cells or as 500 big fat cells or as 5000 small fat cells or 50,000 really small fat cells makes no significant difference in weight.
Morons.
You have another choice.
Believe this bullsh** research or be smarter than the stupid.
Your choice.
Lose the weight. The number of fat cells on your body is irrelevant.
