"...[T]he Strategies to Overcome and Prevent (STOP) Obesity Alliance released new policy recommendations regarding an issue that relates to each of these topics: America's obesity epidemic. The Alliance is a collaboration of consumer, provider, business, labor, government, health insurance, and quality-of-care organizations."This expert organization is another one of those groups fronting a clear failure as its mascot.
Here is the bio of its director.
Look at who your experts are.
More proof that in some enterprises, such as the weight loss industry of which this organization is a part, crap floats to occupy the top spots.
Is it just me, or is there something wrong with fat people telling fat people how to successfully lose weight, let alone making policy?
For the record, I am the kind of guy who does not want the Federal Reserve Chairman to be a homeless person.
What is clear is that the STOP Obesity Alliance should stop functioning so we can deal with the matter successfully instead of how it and its Steering Committee members have.
