Analysis: U.S. politicians may unite in obesity battle

Best pray to whatever Spirit, if any, guides you that this will not happen.
One way to achieve bipartisanship in Washington may be to tackle an issue everyone can agree on - the childhood obesity epidemic.

The Obama administration and members of Congress from both parties agree action is needed.

Obesity-related diseases cost the United States an estimated $147 billion each year, nearly 10 percent of all medical spending, according to U.S. federal agencies.

"We don't have to debate the issue," Senator Christopher Dodd, a Connecticut Democrat, said at hearing last week.

"In a city that seems absolutely frozen in this inability to come to agreement on, at least, what the problems are, there is no disagreement here."
Too bad that all are agreed on wrongheaded approaches.

It appears as if those who cannot balance a budget will join with those who cannot even cure toenail fungus, break the law daily and sat by as this matter got out of hand (i.e., the Sick Care Industry) to legislatively conquer childhood obesity.

(It is appropriate that the lawmakers in DC should ally with the other lawbreakers.)

These moonbats will kill us.

And leading the charge of false change is the First Fatty herself, Michellesie "The Cow" Obama.
First lady Michelle Obama is leading a campaign to eliminate childhood obesity within a generation.

Clearly, wholesale regime change is in order.
