"As children transition from preschool-age to school-age, they may develop eating habits and leisure-time patterns that may not meet current recommendations and may contribute to childhood obesity.Sez who?
"In a study published in the January/February 2009 issue of the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior, researchers report that parents perceived that their pre-school children (2 to 5 years) had relatively good eating habits and physical activity levels, but that parents of school-aged children (6 to 12 years) felt their children had less healthful diets and leisure-time activities."And whose fault is that?
Why the child-abusing parents, that's who.
How do you think these 6-12 year old kids get a hold of these obesogenic food items?
What is that you say? They are spending their own earned income.
Shut up.
You claim to see the problem, so implement a solution.
Or give up the kids to a loving home where the foster/adoptive parents can offer them a good life without the harms associated with overweight/obesity.
You know, the kind of life you are preventing them from having.
