Some 'ignore food label schemes'

Ain't so bad.
"Food labelling could end up being ignored by a large number of shoppers, experts suggest.

A "significant" proportion did not take them into account when buying treats such as cakes, show early results from a Food Standards Agency-funded study."
Food labels are silly, relatively useless, confusing, likely beyond the comprehension of most people and offer unneeded (and unwanted) data.

Much better to chuck the labels currently in use and replace them with ones that offer real, i.e., useful, information.

Still, you can take the horse/elephant/pig to water, but you cannot make it drink.

Or think.
