"Lower-back supports may not be much help in preventing or managing back pain, a research review suggests. Many people with chronic lower back pain use wide belts called lumbar supports when performing heavy lifting or other tasks that stress the back. Some workers also use the supports in the hopes of preventing on-the-job injuries.
But in the new review, Dutch researchers found that across 15 clinical trials involving more than 15,000 people, there was no clear evidence that lumbar supports were effective."
The purpose?
If they cannot figure out if something as simple as a weight belt works, imagine where they are figuring out if the twin malpractices of diet drugs and bariatric surgery have harmful consequences.
They are nowhere.
And you are at risk.
