Food nutrition programs don't lead to obesity: USDA

Excusinators united.
"Food stamps, school lunch and other public nutrition programs do not contribute to an obesity epidemic affecting millions of children and adults, despite blame levied by critics, U.S. and academic officials said on Thursday...

'USDA is not aware of any convincing evidence that school meals or other federal nutrition programs cause obesity and overweight. The evidence that does exist is mixed,' Thomas O'Connor, USDA's acting deputy undersecretary for nutrition, told a House Appropriations subcommittee."
With certainty, no food or meal causes overweight/obesity.

Only more Calories in than out over time causes overweight/obesity.

No matter what this moron says:
"Lynn Parker, a scholar at Institute of Medicine, said the environment that children are in plays a big role in contributing to their obesity. For example, having high fat or high sodium items at school sends the wrong message."
Because kids neither know the fat and sodium contents of food nor do they prepare their foods at home.

What causes overweight/obesity are assh**es like this Parker person making idiot-quality excuses.
