There is no need at all for increased activity as long as one does not consume more Calories than one burns.
The problem they are attempting to solve via the terribly inefficient route of "exercise" is caloric overconsumption.
But cut back on Calories, and Voila!, the "need" for exercise disappears.
You are doomed if you listen to these morons.
