Making Sports Fun Requires Training For Parents

Making anything related to fitness succeed requires getting the parents on board.
"Parents and coaches can make youth sports a fun, learning experience or a nightmare, according to sport psychologists at the University of Washington. But to achieve the former, sports officials and organizations must provide more training programs, especially for parents, according to Frank Smoll and Ron Smith, who have been studying the youth sport experience and designing programs to improve it for a quarter of a century."
It is parents who are the number one nutritional child abusers and the cause of their children's unfitness.

Whether the principles of this program are correct or not is debatable.

What is certain is that parents need to learn how to stop harming their children, assume responsibility for their behaviors and take action to benefit their kids.

If they don't, there must be consequences that they can feel.

No other approach has a prayer of succeeding.
