Eating meals together as a family, even if only once or twice a week, increases children's daily fruit and vegetable intake to near the recommended 5 A Day, according to researchers at the University of Leeds.It is because of meals at home that kids are fat.
Increasing the amount of fruits and vegetables is far less important than decreasing the number of Calories consumed.
At that, parents, in very large part, are abject failures.
