In fact, marathons lower the risk of fatal motor vehicle crashes that might otherwise have taken place if the roads had not been closed, finds a study in the Christmas issue of the British Medical Journal."

This is the equivalent to "Being Female Cuts Risk Of Prostate Cancer."

If there are no cars, there are no accidents. If there is no prostate, no prostate cancer.

Duh.

And this is emblematic of much research, especially in the overweight, obesity, fitness and diet domains.
