"Falling levels of a hormone called leptin that helps the brain resist tempting foods may explain why people who lose weight often have a hard time keeping it off, U.S. researchers said on Friday.Wrong.Restoring leptin to pre-diet levels may reverse this problem, they said, offering a way for weary dieters to finally win the weight battle."Diets fail because they are starvation diets and unsustainable.
'When you lose weight you've created about the perfect storm for regaining weight,' said Michael Rosenbaum of Columbia University Medical Center in New York, whose research appears in the Journal of Clinical Investigation."
It is not the weight loss, it is how you lost the weight (if you lost much weight at all since many failed dieters give up well before they have lost a real amount).
Impossible dieting, i.e., the conventional approach recommended by diet gurus, the sick care industry, AdipOprah, her experts and other IMHO crooks are starvation diets which no one will sustain voluntarily.
More crap research intended to make you dependent on the sick care system.
